Three cases of the Britsh coronavirus mutation were confirmed so far in North Macedonia. One of the infected passed away. In the last two weeks the new coronavirus cases have failed and the government was planning to further ease some of the restrictions, but the British mutation appearance halted the process. Since the start of the pandemics there are close to 92,000 confirmed cases of Covid-19 in North Macedonia while the number of deaths reaches around 2,830. AstraZeneca and Pfizer vaccines are still not available, the government reached a direct agreement with Chinese Sinovac for 200,000 units of its CoronaVac vaccine.
